Role: Computer Science Teacher
Location: Barnsley (S70, S71)
Salary: Up to £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long-Term, Part-Time / Full-Time

GSL Education are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Computer Science Teacher to support schools across Barnsley (S70, S71). This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who is passionate about technology, problem-solving, and preparing students with essential digital skills.
What to Expect in This Computer Science (CS) Teacher Role:
- Deliver engaging computer science lessons across a range of year groups.
- Teach key topics such as programming, algorithms, and computational thinking.
- Plan lessons that challenge, motivate, and support learners of all abilities.
- Create a focused, safe, and positive learning environment.
- Track student progress and work collaboratively with colleagues.
Requirements for This Computer Science Teacher Role:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Previous experience teaching computer science is desirable.
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and effectively.
- Proactive, professional, and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
