Job Title: English Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S11)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are hiring an English Teacher to support schools located in Sheffield’s S11 area, inspiring learners through engaging lessons in reading, writing, and communication.
As an English Teacher, you will plan and deliver structured lessons, support pupils of mixed abilities, and create a positive classroom environment where learners feel encouraged to express ideas and think critically.
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver clear, engaging lessons that support literacy development.
- Encourage strong reading comprehension, writing, and discussion skills.
- Use effective behaviour management to maintain a focused learning space.
- Provide constructive feedback to support pupil progress.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum delivery.
- Monitor achievement and maintain accurate assessment records.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
- Confident subject knowledge and experience working as an English Teacher.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A commitment to supporting learners of varying abilities.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A clear understanding of safeguarding responsibilities.
