Job Title: Cover Supervisor (CS)
Location: Sheffield (S11)
Pay rate: $460 -£650 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are appointing a Cover Supervisor to work across schools in Sheffield, particularly within the S11 district, ensuring continuity of learning by supervising classes and maintaining a positive learning environment.
As a Cover Supervisor (CS), you will oversee pre-planned lessons, support pupils in staying on task, and uphold school routines throughout the day. This role suits someone calm, adaptable, and comfortable working with students across different subjects.
Prime Responsibilities:
- Supervise classes using set lesson plans provided by teaching staff.
- Maintain effective behaviour management and a purposeful classroom atmosphere.
- Support students with tasks and encourage positive engagement.
- Follow school policies, including safeguarding and behaviour procedures.
- Provide brief feedback to staff on pupil participation and progress.
Requirements for Cover Supervisor:
- Degree-level qualification or relevant UK school-based experience.
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to lead a classroom independently.
- A flexible, reliable, and proactive approach to daily school life.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
