Job Title: Religious Education (RE) Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S5, S9)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are welcoming applications for an RE Teacher to work across schools in Sheffield (S5, S9), delivering lessons that encourage reflection, respect, and open-minded thinking.
As a Religious Education (RE) Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging sessions that help students explore religious traditions, moral issues, and different worldviews in a balanced and inclusive way.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver well-structured lessons that promote understanding and critical thinking.
- Encourage respectful discussion around ethical, cultural, and philosophical topics.
- Support students in developing clear written and verbal responses.
- Maintain a calm, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum development.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge and confidence delivering as an RE Teacher.
- Clear communication and good organisational skills.
- A commitment to supporting learners of different abilities.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
