Role Overview:
- Deliver planned lessons and interventions across a range of subjects.
- Support teachers in raising attainment and engagement.
- Work with small groups or individual students to provide tailored learning support.
- Assist in classroom management and contribute to a positive learning environment.
- Prepare and adapt learning materials to meet diverse student needs.
- Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to teaching staff.
Requirements for Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA):
- HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience working in a secondary school setting.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Ability to provide a ten-year career history with references covering the last two years, including your most recent educational role.
- An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
