Job Title: Science Teacher
Location: Barnsley (S70, S71)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type - Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are seeking a Science Teacher to join schools in Barnsley (S70, S71), delivering engaging lessons that encourage students to explore scientific concepts and develop practical skills.

As a Science Teacher, you will deliver structured lessons, support all learners, foster curiosity, and collaborate with colleagues to ensure an engaging curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach science across a range of topics with well-prepared lessons.
  • Support students in developing practical and analytical skills.
  • Maintain a positive learning environment using effective behaviour management.
  • Track pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Strong subject knowledge and experience as a Science Teacher.
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
