Job Title: Maths Teacher
Location: Barnsley (S70, S71)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type - Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are hiring a Maths Teacher to support schools throughout Barnsley, including those in the S70 and S71 postcodes, providing dynamic lessons that build confidence in mathematics and problem‑solving.

As a Mathematics Teacher, you will deliver structured lessons, support diverse learners, foster confidence, and collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective curriculum delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver well-prepared lessons across the maths curriculum.
  • Support students in developing problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Use effective behaviour management to maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Monitor pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Strong subject knowledge and experience as a Maths Teacher.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
