Job Title: English Teacher
Location: Barnsley (S70, S71)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type - Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are inviting applications for an English Teacher to work within schools in Barnsley, particularly across the S70 and S71 districts, delivering engaging lessons that inspire students to improve their reading, writing, and communication abilities.
As an English Teacher, you will plan and deliver structured lessons, provide constructive feedback, and create a supportive classroom where learners of all abilities can thrive. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure high-quality learning experiences.
Main Responsibilities:
- Deliver well-prepared lessons across the English curriculum.
- Support students in developing comprehension, analytical, and writing skills.
- Use effective behaviour management to maintain a productive classroom.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing clear feedback.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Confident subject knowledge and experience as an English Teacher.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
