Job Title: Behaviour Support/Mentor
Location: Dinnington (S25)
Pay rate: £460 -£600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are welcoming applications for a Behaviour Support/Mentor to work in schools across Dinnington (S25), providing guidance, encouragement, and tailored support for pupils with additional behavioural needs.
As a Behaviour Support/Mentor, you will work closely with students, helping them manage behaviour, develop social skills, and maintain focus in the classroom.
Key Responsibilities of Behaviour Support/Mentor:
- Provide one-to-one or small group mentoring for pupils.
- Assist students in managing behaviour and developing positive routines.
- Support teachers in creating a calm and structured learning environment.
- Offer guidance and feedback to help students build confidence and resilience.
- Promote emotional wellbeing and encourage positive engagement in school activities.
Requirements:
- Experience working with young people in educational or mentoring settings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage challenging behaviour with patience and professionalism.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A caring and proactive approach to supporting pupils’ welfare and development.
