Maths Teacher
Location: Mid Kent
Start date: Flexible | Full-time (Part-time considered)
Salary: £120 – £250 per day (depending on experience)

We at GSL Education Kent are working on behalf of a well-regarded secondary school in Mid Kent to recruit a Maths Teacher to join a supportive and established department. This opportunity is suitable for both ECTs and experienced teachers, with flexibility around start dates for the right candidate.
The Maths Teacher role:
- Teaching Maths at KS3–KS4 (KS5 opportunities may be available).
- Full-time position (part-time considered).
- Supportive department with shared resources and planning.
- Long-term or permanent opportunities available.
The Ideal Maths Teacher:
- Holds QTS (or is working towards it).
- Has experience teaching Maths at secondary level.
- Is enthusiastic, reliable, and committed to raising attainment.
- Is open to working via an education recruitment agency.
Essential Requirements (Agency Compliance):
- Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
- Right to work in the UK.
- Ability to provide two professional references.
- Recent experience teaching Maths in a UK secondary school.
Pay:
- MPS / UPS (dependent on experience).
- Weekly pay via PAYE or umbrella options available.
This Maths Teacher position requires a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection. Successful applicants must complete all necessary safer recruitment checks, including an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service or a new application.
