Job Title: Geography Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S2, S3)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are delighted to appoint a committed Geography Teacher for schools located across Sheffield’s S2 and S3 areas, inspiring learners through lessons that explore physical and human geography and strengthen critical thinking.

As a Geography Teacher, you will plan structured lessons, encourage enquiry-based learning, and create an environment where students can explore geographical concepts confidently.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver well-prepared lessons across a range of geographical topics.
  • Support students in developing map skills, data interpretation, and analytical thinking.
  • Maintain a positive and focused classroom environment.
  • Provide constructive feedback to help pupils progress.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the geography curriculum.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
  • Strong subject knowledge and experience as a Geography Teacher.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • A professional approach to safeguarding and student welfare.
