Job Title: Drama Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S2, S3)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

Are you passionate about guiding learners to discover self‑expression and confidence through drama and performance?

GSL Education are hiring a dedicated Drama Teacher to work with schools throughout Sheffield, including those in the S2 and S3 postcodes, providing dynamic lessons that promote imagination, collaboration, and self‑expression.

As a Drama Teacher, you will guide learners through practical and theoretical elements of drama, creating a supportive space where students feel confident to explore ideas, emotions, and performance skills.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver dynamic drama lessons.
  • Encourage participation and creative risk-taking.
  • Maintain positive behaviour and a focused learning environment.
  • Assess progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Work collaboratively to support wider creative learning.

Requirements of Drama Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience working as a Drama Teacher.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • A clear understanding of safeguarding and student welfare.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
