SEND Teacher
Location: Middlesbrough, North East
Salary: £120 – £220 per day (dependent on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
GSL Education are seeking a committed and passionate SEND Teacher to work within supportive mainstream and specialist school settings across Middlesbrough. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher dedicated to supporting pupils with special educational needs and disabilities to achieve positive outcomes.
The Role:

Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to pupils with SEND.

Support learners with a range of needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties.

Create a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment.

Contribute to EHCP reviews and individual learning plans.

Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and external professionals.

Monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.

The Ideal Candidate:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

Experience teaching pupils with SEND in mainstream or specialist settings.

Strong differentiation and behaviour management skills.

A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach.

A clear understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
