Job Title: Behaviour Support Staff
Location: Dinnington (S25)
Pay rate: £460 -£600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are looking to engage a dedicated Behaviour Support Staff to work with schools situated in Dinnington’s S25 region, ensuring consistent guidance and promoting positive behaviour across the learning environment.

As a Behaviour Support Staff, you will work closely with students to encourage engagement, support emotional regulation, and help maintain a calm, structured setting that enables learning to take place.

Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils in managing behaviour and emotional needs.
  • Implement behaviour strategies in line with school policies.
  • Build positive relationships that encourage trust and respect.
  • Work alongside teachers and pastoral teams to support students.
  • Record and monitor behaviour progress accurately.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as Behaviour Support Staff or in a similar support role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, resilience, and a proactive approach.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
