Job Title: Computer Science (CS) Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S13)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are seeking a skilled Computer Science Teacher to join schools situated in Sheffield’s S13 region, teaching engaging lessons that help students build confidence in computational thinking.

As a Computer Science (CS) Teacher, you will plan and deliver creative learning experiences, support learners in understanding key digital concepts, and promote confidence in using technology across the curriculum.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver well-structured lessons covering a range of computing topics.
  • Encourage logical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
  • Maintain a positive and well-managed learning environment.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum development.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to perform effectively as a Computer Science Teacher.
  • Good classroom management and communication skills.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • A clear understanding of safeguarding and student welfare.
