Job Title: Teaching Assistant (TA)
Location: Sheffield (S5, S9)
Pay rate: £460 -£600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are recruiting a dedicated Teaching Assistant to work within welcoming school environments across Sheffield, particularly in the S5 and S9 districts, providing valuable classroom support and helping learners stay engaged and confident.
As a Teaching Assistant (TA), you will work alongside teaching staff to support lessons, assist pupils with tasks, and contribute to a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.
Core Responsibilities:
- Support pupils individually or in small groups during lessons.
- Assist teachers with classroom activities and preparation.
- Encourage positive behaviour and participation in learning.
- Help pupils develop confidence, independence, and social skills.
- Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar child-focused role.
- A caring, reliable, and proactive approach to supporting learning.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
