Job Title: Pastoral Lead
Location: Sheffield (S5, S9)
Pay rate: £460 -£600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are appointing a dedicated Pastoral Lead to work with schools across Sheffield (S5, S9), providing guidance and support that enables pupils to feel safe, valued, and ready to learn.
As a Pastoral Lead, you will play a key role in promoting positive behaviour, attendance, and emotional wellbeing, working closely with staff, families, and external agencies to support students effectively.
Prime Responsibilities:
- Provide pastoral support to pupils facing emotional, behavioural, or social difficulties.
- Promote positive behaviour, engagement, and attendance across the school.
- Build strong relationships with students, families, and staff.
- Support safeguarding processes and contribute to wellbeing initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records and monitor student progress.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a pastoral or student-support role.
- Strong communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills as a Pastoral Lead.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
