Role: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Sheffield (S2, S3)
Salary: £460 – £600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long-Term, Part-Time / Full-Time

GSL Education are looking for a patient and dedicated Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to support students with additional needs across schools in Sheffield (S2, S3). This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys helping students succeed and thrive in their learning environment.
What to Expect in This SEN TA Role:
- Provide one-to-one or small group support to students with SEN.
- Assist with classroom activities and adapt tasks to meet individual needs.
- Support students with focus, engagement, and emotional regulation.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other staff to follow personalised learning plans.
- Help maintain a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements for This SEN Teaching Assistant Role:
- Previous experience supporting children with SEN is desirable.
- Patient, empathetic, and supportive approach.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional, reliable, and adaptable attitude.
- Commitment to inclusive education and safeguarding.
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
