Location: Sheffield (S2, S3)
Salary: £460 – £600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long-Term, Part-Time / Full-Time

GSL Education are seeking experienced and compassionate Pastoral Managers to support schools across Sheffield (S2, S3). This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about student wellbeing, behaviour, and personal development, and who thrive in a supportive, student-focused environment.
What to Expect in This Pastoral Managers Role:
- Provide pastoral support to students facing social, emotional, or behavioural challenges.
- Work closely with teaching staff, SEN teams, and external agencies to support student wellbeing.
- Monitor attendance, behaviour, and engagement, implementing appropriate interventions.
- Build strong, positive relationships with students and families.
- Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and supportive school culture.
Requirements for This Pastoral Managers Role:
- Previous experience in a pastoral, mentoring, or student support role is desirable.
- Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage sensitive situations with professionalism and empathy.
- Confident, calm, and proactive approach to student support.
- Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing.
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
