Role: Behaviour Support / Mentor
Location: Wakefield (WF4)
Pay: £460 – £600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long-Term, Part-Time / Full-Time

GSL Education are seeking a compassionate and proactive Behaviour Support / Mentor to work across schools in Wakefield (WF4). This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys supporting students’ personal development, promoting positive behaviour, and helping them reach their full potential.
What to Expect in This Behaviour Support / Mentor Role:
- Provide one-to-one or small group support to students requiring behavioural or emotional guidance.
- Encourage positive behaviour, resilience, and social skills.
- Monitor and mentor students, helping them overcome barriers to learning.
- Work closely with teaching staff and pastoral teams to implement support strategies.
- Maintain a safe, supportive, and structured environment for students.
Requirements for This Behaviour Support / Mentor Role:
- Previous experience working with children or young people in a school or mentoring setting is desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build trusting relationships with students.
- Confident, patient, and proactive approach to behaviour management.
- Professionalism and a commitment to supporting students’ personal growth.
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
