1:1 Teaching Assistant – Support Students in Wakefield (WF4)
Location: Wakefield – WF4
Salary: £460 - £600 per week (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Full-time / Part-time
GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic 1:1 Teaching Assistant (TA) to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Wakefield (WF4). This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about providing individual support and helping students achieve their full potential.
About the Role:
As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and provide tailored support to a specific student, ensuring they feel engaged, motivated, and supported throughout their educational journey. Your role will be vital in creating a positive and nurturing learning environment.
Key Responsibilities of 1:1 Teaching Assistant:
- Provide one-to-one support to a student with additional needs
- Assist teachers in delivering lessons and supporting learning objectives
- Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a safe learning space
- Encourage and motivate pupils to stay engaged
- Adapt strategies to meet the individual needs of the student
Requirements for 1:1 Teaching Assistant:
- Previous experience working with children or young people in an educational setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to different classroom environments
- A proactive and caring approach to supporting students
