Job Title: Religious Education (RE) Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S35)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are recruiting RE Teachers across Sheffield, notably within the S35 locality, offering the chance to deliver meaningful and reflective learning experiences.
As a Religious Education (RE) Teacher, you will guide students through a range of religious, moral, and philosophical topics, creating a respectful environment where different viewpoints are explored with confidence and care.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver well-structured lessons that promote understanding of religious traditions and ethical issues.
- Encourage respectful discussion and critical thinking around beliefs and values.
- Maintain a calm, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
- Provide clear feedback to support student progress.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the wider curriculum.
- Monitor learning outcomes and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge and confidence delivering as an RE Teacher.
- Clear communication and effective organisational skills.
- A commitment to supporting learners of different abilities and backgrounds.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A professional and responsible approach to safeguarding.
