Job Title: Geography Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S35)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are welcoming applications to collaborate with schools located across Sheffield’s S35 area, providing an exciting Geography Teacher role that nurtures curiosity and global awareness.

As a Geography Teacher, you will deliver structured, engaging lessons that develop students’ understanding of physical and human geography while promoting enquiry and discussion. You will support learners in building map skills, analytical thinking, and a broader view of the world.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver clear and engaging lessons covering a range of geographical topics.
  • Support students in developing enquiry, data interpretation, and map-reading skills.
  • Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment.
  • Provide constructive feedback to help learners progress.
  • Contribute to curriculum planning and collaborative team working.
  • Track pupil progress and maintain accurate assessment records.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
  • Strong subject knowledge and confidence working as a Geography Teacher.
  • Good communication and organisational skills.
  • A commitment to supporting learners with different abilities.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • A professional and responsible approach to safeguarding.
