Job Title: History Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S35)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are appointing History Teachers across Sheffield, notably within the S35 locality, offering the chance to deliver engaging lessons that nurture curiosity, critical analysis, and discussion in the classroom.
As a History Teacher, you will deliver structured lessons that build critical thinking and deepen understanding of key historical themes, fostering a classroom where learners confidently question, debate, and reflect.
Mian Responsibilities:
- Deliver well-planned lessons covering a broad range of historical topics.
- Encourage analytical thinking through discussion, source work, and written tasks.
- Use effective behaviour management to maintain a focused learning environment.
- Provide constructive feedback to support academic progress.
- Contribute to curriculum planning and collaborative working.
- Monitor pupil development and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge and confidence working as a History Teacher.
- Clear communication and good organisational skills.
- A commitment to supporting learners of mixed abilities.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A professional approach to safeguarding and school procedures.
