Location: Tower Hamlets
Salary: £90–£105 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: 8:30 am – 3:45 pm
Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term
Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with a strong background in SEN support and a passion for helping children thrive in the classroom?
GSL Education are currently recruiting a Teaching Assistant (TA) to join a welcoming and supportive school in Tower Hamlets.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs, particularly Autism (ASD), and playing a key role in delivering targeted support and interventions within the classroom.
The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
• Provide 1:1 SEN support and targeted interventions
• Support pupils with Autism (ASD) and additional learning needs
• Lead small groups when required
• Assist the class teacher with learning activities and classroom routines
• Contribute positively to the wider school team and follow school policies
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
• Proven SEN experience with strong knowledge of ASD
• Recent school-based experience
• Confidence in leading groups when required
• A warm, caring personality with excellent communication skills
• A committed and professional approach to supporting pupils and staff
