Contract: Full Time, Term Time Only

GSL Education are currently seeking a passionate and adaptable Teacher of English to join a secondary academy in Filey from February half term. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic English specialist looking to make an immediate impact in a supportive school environment.
The Role:
- Deliver engaging and structured English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Plan, adapt, and deliver lessons in line with the school’s curriculum and policies.
- Support students of varying abilities, including those requiring additional literacy support.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom engagement.
- Work collaboratively with department staff and wider school teams.

As the Ideal English Teacher, you should have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Specialism in English.
- Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 (ECTs welcome to apply).
- Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills.
- Flexible, reliable, and confident adapting to a new setting.
