Role: Geography Teacher
Location: Doncaster (DN2, DN6)
Pay: Up to £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long-Term, Part-Time / Full-Time
GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Geography Teacher to support students across schools in Doncaster (DN2, DN6). This is an excellent opportunity for a Geography Teacher who is passionate about helping students explore the world around them and develop their understanding of physical and human geography.
What to Expect in This Geography Teacher Role:
- Deliver engaging geography lessons across a range of year groups.
- Plan and prepare lessons that develop geographical skills, map work, and critical thinking.
- Encourage curiosity about the natural world, environments, and global issues.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
- Monitor student progress and work collaboratively with colleagues to support achievement.
Requirements for This Geography Teacher Role:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Previous experience teaching geography is desirable.
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities.
- A professional, proactive, and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
