Teaching Assistant
Location: York
Salary: £88 – £110 per day
Contract: Full-Time
Start Date: January 2026
GSL Education are recruiting a supportive Teaching Assistant to work within a secondary or specialist setting in the York area, supporting pupils with their learning and personal development.

Teaching Assistant Responsibilities

Provide classroom and 1:1 support

Assist with differentiated learning activities

Requirements

Experience working with children or young people

Good communication and teamwork skills

Flexible and patient approach

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
