Job Title: Art Teacher
Location: Doncaster (DN2, DN6)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are seeking an inspiring Art Teacher to join schools across the Doncaster region, serving communities in DN2 and DN6, and delivering engaging lessons that foster imagination and practical skills.

As an Art Teacher, you will plan and deliver lessons that develop creativity, technical ability, and confidence. You will encourage students to experiment with different media while maintaining a structured and supportive classroom environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach a broad and engaging art curriculum, combining theory and practical work.
  • Support pupils in developing artistic skills and creative expression.
  • Maintain a positive, safe, and focused learning environment.
  • Provide constructive feedback to help students improve and progress.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to curriculum planning.
  • Monitor pupil development and maintain accurate assessment records.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised teaching qualification.
  • Confident subject knowledge and experience as an Art Teacher.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • Commitment to fostering creativity and supporting learners of all abilities.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • Professional approach to safeguarding and pupil welfare.
