Location: Filey
Salary: £32,916 – £51,048 per annum
Contract: Full-Time
Start Date: January 2026 or sooner
GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join a secondary school in the Filey area. This role is ideal for a teacher passionate about helping pupils understand the world around them through engaging and accessible geography lessons.

Geography Teacher Responsibilities

Teach Geography across KS3 and KS4

Plan engaging lessons covering physical and human geography

Differentiate learning to meet a range of abilities

Track pupil progress and support examination outcomes

Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Degree in Geography or related subject

Experience teaching Geography at secondary level

Strong classroom management skills

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
