Job Title: Geography Teacher
Location: Barnsley (S70, S71)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are collaborating with schools across Barnsley, covering the S70 and S71 areas, to appoint an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Geography Teacher who can bring the subject to life.
As a Geography Teacher, you will guide learners in developing map skills, understanding physical and human geography, and analysing global issues, while maintaining a positive and focused classroom environment.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging geography lessons that inspire curiosity.
- Support students in developing critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Encourage discussion and enquiry about environmental and social issues.
- Maintain effective behaviour management and classroom routines.
- Track student progress and maintain accurate assessment records.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge and experience as a Geography Teacher.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Commitment to inclusive learning and safeguarding responsibilities.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
