Job Title: Computer Science (CS) Teacher
Location: Barnsley (S70, S71)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are hiring a knowledgeable and motivated Computer Science Teacher to work with schools across Barnsley, covering the S70 and S71 areas, delivering engaging and relevant lessons.
As a Computer Science (CS) Teacher, you will support learners in developing computational thinking, problem-solving skills, and a strong understanding of digital systems, while maintaining a structured and supportive classroom environment.
Prime Responsibilities of Computer Science Teacher:
- Deliver clear and engaging lessons covering key computer science concepts.
- Support pupils in developing coding, logical thinking, and digital literacy skills.
- Provide constructive feedback to help learners improve and progress.
- Maintain positive behaviour management and a focused learning atmosphere.
- Monitor pupil progress and keep accurate assessment records.
Requirements of Computer Science Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge and confidence delivering computer science lessons.
- Effective communication and classroom management skills.
- A commitment to inclusive education and safeguarding responsibilities.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
