GSL Education are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Geography Teacher to support students across schools in Sheffield (S5, S9). This is an excellent opportunity for a Geography Teacher who is passionate about the natural world, human geography, and helps students understand global issues.

  • Deliver engaging geography lessons across a range of year groups.
  • Plan and prepare lessons that develop geographical skills and understanding.
  • Encourage curiosity about physical and human geography topics.
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
  • Assess student progress and work collaboratively with colleagues to support achievement.

Requirements for This Geography Teacher Role:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Previous experience teaching geography is desirable.
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities.
  • A professional, proactive, and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
