Role: Computer Science Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S5, S9)
Salary: Up to £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long-Term, Part-Time / Full-Time

GSL Education are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Computer Science Teacher to support students across schools in Sheffield (S5, S9). This role is ideal for a Computer Science (CS) Teacher who is passionate about technology, problem-solving, and helping students develop essential digital skills.

What to Expect in This Computer Science Teacher Role:

  • Deliver engaging computer science lessons across a range of year groups.
  • Teach topics such as programming, algorithms, data, and computational thinking.
  • Plan and prepare lessons that challenge and motivate students of all abilities.

Requirements for This Role:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Previous experience teaching computer science is desirable.
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and effectively.
  • A proactive, professional, and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
