Job Title: Design Technology (DT) Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S11)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediately
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are seeking a skilled Design Technology Teacher to work with schools in Sheffield, specifically in the S11 district, delivering engaging, hands-on lessons in a structured and safe environment.
As a Design Technology (DT) Teacher, you will guide students through the design process, support the development of technical skills, and encourage creativity through practical learning activities.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons focused on design, materials, and practical skills.
- Promote safe use of tools, equipment, and workshop spaces.
- Encourage creativity, innovation, and independent thinking.
- Provide clear feedback to support student progress and improvement.
- Maintain an organised and positive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge and experience working as a Design Technology Teacher.
- Confidence managing practical lessons and maintaining safety standards.
- Clear communication and effective classroom management skills.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
