Job Title: English Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S11)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediately
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are partnering with schools based in Sheffield, within the S11 postcode, to appoint a committed and enthusiastic English Teacher who can deliver engaging and purposeful lessons.
As an English Teacher, you will support students in building confidence in reading, writing, and speaking, while creating a positive classroom environment where ideas and creativity are encouraged.
Responsibilities of English Teacher:
- Deliver structured and engaging English lessons that meet curriculum expectations.
- Support learners with reading comprehension, writing skills, and verbal expression.
- Provide clear and constructive feedback to aid student progress.
- Manage classroom behaviour to maintain a focused learning atmosphere.
- Contribute to planning, assessment, and wider departmental activities.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
- Secure subject knowledge and experience teaching English.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A supportive and inclusive approach to teaching learners of all abilities.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
