Role: Behaviour Support / Mentor
Location: Dinnington (S25)
Pay: £460 – £600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long-Term, Part-Time / Full-Time

GSL Education are currently recruiting Behaviour Support / Mentors to work in schools in the Dinnington (S25) area, providing guidance and positive role modelling for students who require additional support.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who can build strong relationships and help pupils develop confidence, self-regulation, and positive behaviours.

Key Responsibilities as a Behaviour Support / Mentor:

  • Supporting students with behavioural, emotional, and social needs.
  • Acting as a positive role model and mentor.
  • Helping to manage and de-escalate challenging behaviour.
  • Supporting pupils both in and out of the classroom.
  • Working closely with teaching and pastoral teams.

The Ideal Behaviour Support / Mentor Candidate Will Have:

  • Experience working with children or young people (behaviour or mentoring experience desirable).
  • A patient, consistent, and supportive approach.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to remain professional in challenging situations.
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
