Job Title: Art Teacher
Location: Barnsley (S70, S71)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are delighted to be recruiting an enthusiastic Art Teacher to join schools across Barnsley, including the S70 and S71 areas, delivering imaginative and engaging lessons that inspire creativity.

As an Art Teacher, you will encourage students to explore different techniques, materials, and artistic styles while developing confidence and individuality in their work.

Prime Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver inspiring art lessons that engage all students.
  • Encourage creativity, experimentation, and personal expression.
  • Provide feedback to help students improve their skills and understanding.
  • Maintain an organised, safe, and motivating classroom environment.
  • Track progress and keep accurate assessment records.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching art and ability to inspire as an Art Teacher.
  • Strong planning, communication, and classroom management skills.
  • A genuine passion for developing students’ creative talents.
  • An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).

This Art Teacher role provides the opportunity to nurture creativity and make a meaningful difference in students’ learning.
