Job Title: Computer Science (CS) Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S2, S3)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
Are you enthusiastic about digital learning and keen to help students develop strong problem-solving and technical skills?
GSL Education are collaborating with schools across Sheffield, including the S2 and S3 areas, to appoint a motivated Computer Science Teacher who delivers engaging and relevant lessons.
As a Computer Science (CS) Teacher, you will support learners in understanding computing concepts, developing logical thinking, and building confidence with technology in an ever-changing digital world.
In the role, you will:
- Deliver clear and well-structured lessons covering core computing topics.
- Support students with coding, computational thinking, and digital literacy.
- Encourage independent learning and curiosity around technology.
- Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to support improvement.
- Maintain a focused and positive classroom environment.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience working as a Computer Science Teacher in a school setting.
- Strong subject knowledge and confident classroom management skills.
- A proactive and adaptable approach to teaching.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
