Job Title: Drama Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S2, S3)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
Creative, confident, and passionate about guiding young voices in performance and storytelling?
GSL Education are partnering with schools across Sheffield, including the S2 and S3 areas, to appoint a Drama Teacher who brings energy and imagination to the classroom.
As a Drama Teacher, you will encourage students to explore ideas, build confidence, and develop communication skills through practical and engaging lessons.
In the role of Drama Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver stimulating drama sessions that promote creativity and collaboration.
- Support pupils in developing performance, improvisation, and script work skills.
- Create a safe and inclusive environment where students feel confident to participate.
- Assess progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.
- Maintain positive behaviour and follow school policies at all times.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience working within a UK school setting.
- Strong classroom presence and effective behaviour management skills.
- A flexible and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
