Role: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Sheffield (S2 & S3)
Pay: £460 – £600 per week (Depending on experience)

Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long-Term, Part-Time / Full-Time

Are you a caring and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant looking to make a meaningful impact in the classroom?

GSL Education are currently recruiting SEN (Special Educational Needs) Teaching Assistants to support pupils with additional needs in schools across Sheffield S2 and S3.

This role is ideal for someone who is patient, proactive, and passionate about helping students reach their full potential in a supportive learning environment.

Your Responsibilities as a SEN TA Will Include:

  • Supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs on a 1:1 or small-group basis
  • Assisting teachers with classroom activities and lesson delivery
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement with learning
  • Providing emotional support and building strong relationships with pupils
  • Helping create a safe, inclusive classroom environment

What We’re Looking for in a SEN Teaching Assistant:

  • Experience working with children or young people (SEN experience desirable)
  • A calm, nurturing, and flexible approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A genuine interest in education and student development
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
