Role: SEMH Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S2 & S3)
Pay: Up to £220 per day (Depending on experience)

Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long-Term, Part-Time / Full-Time

Are you an experienced SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) Teacher who is passionate about supporting students with social, emotional, and mental health needs?

GSL Education are currently seeking dedicated SEMH Teachers to work across schools in the Sheffield S2 and S3 areas.

This role is well suited to SEMH Teachers who can build strong relationships, create structured learning environments, and support pupils who may face barriers to education.

Key Responsibilities of a SEMH Teacher:

  • Delivering engaging lessons tailored to students with SEMH needs
  • Supporting pupils’ emotional regulation and behaviour
  • Creating a safe, consistent, and supportive classroom environment
  • Working closely with pastoral teams and support staff
  • Promoting positive behaviour and student wellbeing

We’re Looking for a SEMH Teacher Who:

  • Holds QTS/QTLS or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Has experience working with SEMH or challenging behaviour
  • Is resilient, patient, and empathetic
  • Has strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
