Role: SEN Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S2 & S3)
Pay: Up to £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long-Term, Part-Time / Full-Time

GSL Education are currently working with schools in Sheffield (S2 and S3) who are seeking experienced and committed SEN (Special Educational Needs) Teachers to support pupils with additional learning needs.

This role is ideal for a teacher who is confident in adapting lessons, supporting diverse needs, and creating an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.

Key Responsibilities of a SEN Teacher:

  • Planning and delivering tailored lessons to meet individual SEN needs
  • Supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including SEMH, ASD, and learning difficulties
  • Creating a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Working collaboratively with support staff and external professionals
  • Monitoring progress and adapting teaching strategies accordingly

The Ideal SEN Teacher Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent)
  • Experience teaching pupils with Special Educational Needs
  • A patient, flexible, and compassionate approach
  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
