Role: Pastoral Manager
Location: Sheffield (S2 & S3)
Pay: £460 – £600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long-Term, Part-Time / Full-Time
Are you passionate about student wellbeing and pastoral care?
We are seeking a committed and compassionate Pastoral Manager to work across schools in the Sheffield S2 and S3 areas, supporting students’ emotional, social, and behavioural development.
This role is ideal for someone with strong interpersonal skills who can act as a positive role model and provide consistent support to students facing challenges both in and out of the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting students with emotional, behavioural, and wellbeing needs
- Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils
- Working closely with teachers, SLT, and pastoral teams
- Monitoring student progress and behaviour
- Providing guidance, mentoring, and intervention where needed
The Ideal Pastoral Manager Candidate Will Have:
- Experience working with children or young people in a pastoral or support role
- A calm, empathetic, and professional approach
- Strong communication and organisation skills
- The ability to manage challenging situations effectively
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education
