Role: 1:1 Teaching Assistant
Location: Sheffield (S2 & S3)
Pay: £460 – £600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long-Term, Part-Time / Full-Time

GSL Education are currently looking for a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support pupils on an individual basis in schools across Sheffield S2 and S3.

This 1:1 Teaching Assistant role is ideal for someone who is patient, supportive, and committed to helping students overcome barriers to learning in a one-to-one setting.

The 1:1 TA Role Will Include:

  • Providing tailored 1:1 support to pupils with additional learning or behavioural needs
  • Supporting students to stay focused, engaged, and motivated
  • Assisting with class activities under the direction of the teacher
  • Helping to build confidence, independence, and positive behaviour
  • Offering consistent emotional and academic support

We’re Looking For Who:

  • Has experience working with children or young people (desirable but not essential)
  • Is calm, reliable, and nurturing
  • Communicates clearly and professionally
  • Can build strong, trusting relationships with pupils
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
