Role: Behaviour Support Staff
Location: Sheffield (S2 & S3)
Pay: £460 – £600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long-Term, Part-Time / Full-Time

GSL Education are currently recruiting Behaviour Support Staff to work across schools in the Sheffield S2 and S3 areas, supporting students who require additional behavioural and emotional guidance.

This is a rewarding role for individuals who can build positive relationships, manage challenging behaviour, and help students remain engaged in their learning.

Key Responsibilities of a Behaviour Support Staff:

  • Supporting students with behavioural, emotional, and social needs
  • Assisting pupils both in and out of the classroom
  • Helping to de-escalate challenging situations calmly and effectively
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement with learning
  • Working closely with teachers and pastoral teams

The Ideal Behaviour Support Staff Will Have:

  • Experience working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable)
  • A calm, consistent, and empathetic approach
  • Strong communication and behaviour management skills
  • The ability to remain professional in challenging situations
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education
