Role: Cover Supervisor
Location: Sheffield (S2 & S3)
Salary: £460 – £650 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long-Term, Part-Time / Full-Time

GSL Education are seeking a reliable and proactive Cover Supervisor to work across schools in the Sheffield S2 and S3 areas.
As a Cover Supervisor (CS), you will be responsible for supervising classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff, ensuring students remain engaged with pre-set work and maintaining a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities of a Cover Supervisor:
- Supervising whole classes across a range of subjects
- Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Delivering clear instructions and supporting students with set work
- Ensuring a safe and productive learning environment
- Reporting back to teaching staff as required
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Experience working with children or young people (desirable)
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Confidence, flexibility, and a professional approach
- A genuine interest in education and student development
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
