Location: York
Salary: £32,916 – £51,048 per annum
Contract: Full-Time
Start Date: January 2026
GSL Education are recruiting a passionate PE Teacher with a focus on girls’ physical education to join a secondary school in York.

PE Teacher Responsibilities

Deliver engaging PE lessons with a focus on girls’ participation

Promote physical wellbeing and confidence

Plan inclusive activities suitable for a range of abilities

Support extracurricular sports and enrichment

Maintain a safe and positive learning environment
Requirements
-
QTS with a PE specialism

Experience teaching girls’ PE at secondary level

Strong behaviour management skills

Enthusiastic and motivating teaching style

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
