Location: Filey
Salary: £32,916 – £51,048 per annum
Contract: Full-Time
Start Date: January 2026 or sooner
GSL Education are seeking a motivated English Teacher to join a secondary school in the Filey area. This role offers the opportunity to deliver engaging English lessons while supporting pupils with varying abilities and learning needs.

English Teacher Responsibilities

Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons across KS3 and KS4

Differentiate teaching to meet diverse learning needs

Assess progress and provide constructive feedback

Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Contribute to departmental planning and enrichment activities
Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Degree in English or a related subject

Experience teaching English at secondary level

Strong classroom management and communication skills

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
