Job Title: Cover Supervisor

Salary: £460 – £650 per week
Contract Type: Full time, long-term / Day-to-day

About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes when teachers are absent, ensuring students stay on task and engaged with their learning. You will play a key role in maintaining classroom standards, promoting positive behaviour, and supporting a structured and effective learning environment throughout the school day.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise classes according to lesson plans provided by teachers.
- Ensure students remain engaged, on task, and behave appropriately.
- Support teachers by maintaining high classroom standards in their absence.
- Report on student behaviour, engagement, and any incidents.
- Promote a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff, SEN coordinators, and other school staff.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in schools or classroom supervision preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage behaviour effectively and maintain classroom focus.
- Professional, reliable, and confident approach.
- Adaptable and comfortable working with groups of students.
